Day 1 – Day 1: PICKUP FROM BAGDOGRA AIRPORT – TRANSFER TO PHUENTSHOLING

Day 2 – Day 2: TRANSFER TO THIMPHU, ON THE WAY SIGHTSEEING, STAY IN THIMPHU

  • After immigration, proceed towards Thimphu.
  • Enjoy this beautiful journey through the beautiful landscapes.
  • Pass through Dharma Kaya Stupa and Chuzom Bridge, the confluence of the Thimphu River and Paro River.
  • Arrive in Thimphu by evening and check in to your hotel.

Day 3 – Day 3: THIMPHU TSHECHU FESTIVAL & PUNAKHA EXCURSION

  • Post breakfast, get ready to witness one of Bhutan's grandest cultural celebrations.
  • Today, experience the vibrant Tsechu Festival, where locals dressed in their traditional attire gather to witness sacred masked dances and centuries-old Buddhist rituals.
  • As part of your Bhutan group tour with Tsechu Festival, enjoy the festive atmosphere and get a chance to see Bhutan's rich cultural heritage up close.
  • Later, board your transfers and continue your journey (approx. 3–4 hours) towards Punakha via the scenic Dochula Pass.
  • Enjoy the beautiful surroundings before returning to Thimphu.

Day 4 – Day 4: THIMPHU SIGHTSEEING – TRANSFER TO PARO

  • After breakfast, proceed for Thimphu local sightseeing.
  • Visit Buddha Dordenma Statue: A huge statue of Buddha.
  • Simply Bhutan Museum: Taste local wine "Aara", play the national game Archery, meet the foot carver Pema Tshering, watch the cultural show, and drink Bhutanese Butter Tea.
  • The National Memorial Chorten Stupas: Tibetan-style stupa built in 1974.
  • Royal Takin Preserve: Biggest protection area of the rare mountain animal called Takin
  • (Bhutan's National Animal), surrounded by dense forest.

  • Arrive in Paro by evening.

Day 5 – Day 5: SHORT HIKE TO TIGER'S NEST & OVERNIGHT STAY IN PARO

  • After breakfast, proceed to Tiger's Nest Monastery, also known as Paro Taktsang, a sacred Buddhist temple and monastery.
  • The hike to Tiger's Nest is an easy to moderate one. You'll be able to do it if you have at least an average level of fitness.
  • For people who cannot make the climb, horses are available for hire at the starting point.
  • After the hike, you can enjoy a hot stone bath in the countryside.

Day 6 – Day 6: CHELELA PASS EXCURSION – RETURN TO PHUENTSHOLING

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Drive to Chelela Pass, the highest motorable pass in Bhutan.
  • Enjoy spectacular Himalayan views and colorful prayer flags.
  • Begin the drive back to Phuentsholing.
  • Check in to the hotel.
  • Dinner at the hotel.
  • Overnight stay in Phuentsholing.

Day 7 – Day 7: TRANSFER FROM PHUENTSHOLING TO BAGDOGRA AIRPORT

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Check out from the hotel.
  • At 8:00 AM, depart from Phuentsholing for Bagdogra Airport (IXB).
  • Enjoy the scenic drive as you bid farewell to the beautiful landscapes of Bhutan.
  • Arrive at Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey.
  • Important: Please book your return flight from Bagdogra Airport after 6:00 PM to ensure sufficient travel time from Phuentsholing.
  • Tour concludes with unforgettable memories of the Land of the Thunder Dragon.
